Leopard Hills is located in the western sector of the world-famous Sabi Sand Game Reserve, bordering the Kruger National Park. If you’re on the lookout for a honeymoon safari in South Africa, this intimate lodge offers a memorable experience for couples and honeymooners alike.

Guests have the choice of eight exquisitely-decorated secluded glass-fronted suites. Complete with their own private plunge pool and sundeck, the suites offer incredible views of the African bushveld. The 65,000-hectare Sabi Sand Game Reserve is located on the south-west edge of the world-renowned Kruger National Park. It is comprises of numerous private game reserves, of which Leopard Hills Private Game Reserve traverses over 10,000 hectares.

Enjoy an array of incredibly diverse ecosystems, from the open plains in the south and the riverine bush along the banks of the Sand River, to the woodland and rock outcrops in the north. With such diversity of flora comes an equal diversity of fauna, making Leopard Hills the ideal destination to view the Big 5, as well as various other rare game species in their natural habitat.

Each day brings something different, as you explore the bush twice daily in open game viewing vehicles. Whether it is a leopard on the hunt, lions roaring at twilight, hippo wallowing in the river, or a herd of buffalo grazing; each viewing will enthrall and our guides will delight in showing you around.

The main lodge at Leopard Hills is situated on the top of a rocky outcrop, offering awe-inspiring views over the bush and the natural waterhole on the plains below. The main deck is perfect for whiling the day away with a pair of binoculars, in the glorious sun or under the shade of an umbrella. During the heat of the day, cool down on the open-air verandah with an ice cold drink in hand, or sink below the refreshing surface of our main swimming pool. Rates at Leopard Hills include three meals daily, snack while on game drive and all beverages excluding preminum wines from our wine cellar. Traditional full English and Continental breakfasts are served on the main deck after the early morning game drive and are the perfect way to start each day at the lodge. Lunches are served under big shady umbrellas, overlooking the waterhole.

No dinner will ever be the same at Leopard Hills, from dining under the stars in our traditional boma to fine silver service dinners in our dining room, or out on the upper deck where a cool breeze is a welcome relief from the African heat.
