Leopard Hills Trackers come out tops

Posted on August 19, 2008

This morning our Trackers completed their latest Track and Sign Course with outstanding results.

Leopard Hills Trackers, Ronald, June and Abraham completed their Track and Sign Assessments, and although we know they are good, we are overjoyed that they all received the highest accolade of Level 3. I can now quite honestly say that Leopard Hills is the only Lodge that I know of that has all its Trackers placed on the highest level, well done to you all, we are very proud of you.

I must also congratulate Raymond who achieved his level 3, and Marius who really upped his game and produced a wonderful level 2 result, not bad for a Ranger among such talented Trackers.

I am extremely proud of the Safari Team in their endeavours , once again Leopard Hills leads the way for all else to follow.

Marius Coetzee (Head Ranger), June Dhlamini (Tracker), Lee Gutteridge (Trainer) and Raymond Mahatlani(Ranger)

  1. Duncan – please tell Ronald & Raymond congratulations from David & I. We were there in Jan/Feb with the ChemNut group and we were with Ronald and Raymond. For me, they were really the best part of our coming back to Africa experience, as well as just being at Leopard Hills. I loved being there.
My husband and I had lived in Ethiopia in the sixties but I can tell you, it was not in the lap of luxury on a soldier’s salary.

I wish I could be at Leopard Hills right now. You guys are always in my thoughts.

  2. Wow, it is fantastic news! My congratulation for all Bush-Men, BUT special warm and best whishes I address to Mr. June, who as a team with Hannes made my Safari splendid! His experience, sense of humor and smile was always right on time. When I think Africa, I see his face ? I can say only one thing ? well done Leopard Hills Team ? best Lodge ? best People!
