The Ximungwe pride popped by yesterday afternoon to come and inspect our pools and gardens. It is not often that this lion pride of seven pay us lodge staff a visit. Click on the article to see the images…
The Leopard Hills staff were given a real treat yesterday afternoon when seven lions decided to walk through camp.
We were lucky enough to be able to jump in a vehicle and follow them as they strolled past room 7, 6 ,5 and 4 before crossing the river bed and drinking from our water hole.
Sorry about the black blocks, as soon as Marius is in the office I will ask him to help me delete the duplicates and add the rest of the pictures.
Wow, is Leopards Hills the best, or what ?
At this rate, soon we shall not need the Land Rovers, we can just lay back in the bath tub with a refreshing cocktail, and the animals will come to see us !
I think these photos should be presented to all guests who query the need for a watchman to accompany them from Villa to BOMA.
Beautifully organised Vanessa, thank you
Fantastic post Vanessa. Well done and thanks for taking the time to share these mind blowing images with everyone!
I absolutely love Tim’s comment! He really does have a point… 😉
Hey there everyone.
No space here to do all the catching up that I would like, but a question: Which male lion is with the pride? Spend every day looking at the Blog and waiting for the new Monthly Reports. To all the guests past and present – Even us old/ex rangers, no matter where we get to work in the Game Lodge industry, always yearn for the game experiences that are produced at Leopard Hills. It doesnt get any better, anywhere!!!
Thanks Rudi for your great comments! You will remember him as the Castleton Male.
Hey Rudi – Happy to see you online! You were our amazing Ranger while we were at LH for our honeymoon 3+ years ago. We were sad to hear you left the lodge. Hopefully you will stay in touch & we can explore more of Africa with you! P.S. AMAZING photos of the lions at the lodge – simply amazing!!!
