Makwela’s cub too clever for hyaena’s

After spotting makwelas cub near camp pan, we followed her through thick bush to find that there were 2 hyaenas following her.

She quickly outsmarted them and climbed up a tree. Once they had lost interest she came down and carried on with her territory marking.

We are pleased to know the cub is ok, as we wwere there the evening she was turned out by her mother. hope to see you early next year. we think of you great fondnest and remember all the fun we had.xx

  3. Gary, after our visit,finding the leopard and her cubs, we thought we had seen it all. Then you see a Pangolin (wish we had made the evening drive)and now Wild Dogs! Wow what else is there.
    Thanks again to you Marius,Vanessa and all the team, we had a truly amazing holiday.We will be posting pictures shortly.
