Birding

Posted on July 8, 2008

Seeing that I am stuck at the lodge I have done a bit of birding and birding photography the last couple of days.

My good friend Ryan that used to work at Leopard Hills came to visit for a couple of days.

We both have a passion for birding and photography and went out a couple of mornings doing just that. We were lucky enough to see a Dark-Capped Yellow Warbler this morning which was seen about 2 months ago for the first time in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve Western Sector. Bird photography is the ultimate challenge as birds move so fast. I am really keen to get stuck in bird photography so you can expect loads more images in the future.

  1. Although you are off the raod from driving for a while, good to see you are using the time well. Please stop crawling through the flower beds on your hands and knees with your camera, stalking the birds, you are upsetting the Gardeners!!!!! Great shots by the way.
