07/02/10: Leopard in camp!!

We have arrived back in cold , misty and wet Yorkshire.
Wow what a fab time we had with you all at Leopards Hill.One of the highlights was when Tom , Bente , Frankie , Stephen and I were having a quiet lunch when the mother leopard decided to stroll round the decking and visit us ! Beautiful but a little scary when Frankie and Stephen realised they were viewing her at a distance of about a metre in an area where there was no glass!!!!! Lunch was never the same after that !

Here are a few photos from our amazing trip. Thankyou to all at Leopard Hills for making it so special. Our wedding couldn't have been more perfect or personal. A wonderful place to stay - we are looking forward to coming back at some point in the future.
... it is not only the leopards which made the trip special. It is often the birds and smaller animals that can make a game drive special...
01/11/09: Leopard Hills lives up to it's name...!
Visiting from the USA on our 10th bush visit in the past 4 1/2 years, we really wanted to see leopards. Our leopard sightings had been sparse on previous visits to other lodges... so the expectation was there. Could Hannes and the Leopard Hills team live up to their name?
