Lions
King of the bush, the lion will always hold a special appeal and at the Leopard Hills Game Park it is no different. Various prides of lions travel through our area on a monthly basis. Seeing the Sand River pride up close when they feed on a wildebeest or observing the Ximungwe pride up close can be exhilarating experiences. Our rangers will take you close to the prides including the Othawa pride with their two adults and six youngsters when they move into our traverse area.
Leopard
The game park is not called Leopard Hills Private Game Reserve for nothing. Leopard sightings are always special and at our game park you will get ample opportunity to spot the animals. It is not uncommon to spot up to 12 leopards in one month. With our experienced rangers knowing where to look, you should get your camera ready because the best photo opportunities await you at Leopard Hills.
Elephants
If elephants are high on your list for photo shoots, you will not be disappointed when visiting Leopard Hills. It is not unusual to have the road blocked by a whole herd of elephants. Our rangers will share their in-depth knowledge about the majestic animals in conversational manner while on route to wild dog sightings.
Buffalos
It is always an occasion for celebration when you come across a herd of buffalos. It is however, a sightseeing opportunity that is not that unusual at Leopard Hills. Herds of up to 400 buffalos have been seen at the Sabi Sands River.
