Leopard Hills Game Lodge in Mpumalanga

The Leopard Hills Game Lodge situated in Mpumalanga, has a long history dating back to the 1920’s when at first the land was used for hunting purposes during the winter months. In 1949 the area became part of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve which was then proclaimed.  The hunting concessions became something of the past with conservation and commercial eco-tourism becoming the main focus.  Within the Sabi Sands Game Reserve many lodges came into being of which the esteemed Leopard Hills Game Lodge is one.

The official opening of the Leopard Hills Private Game Reserve took place in March 1998 and being the brainchild of the Kruger family, who are still the owners, it is now one of the most awesome lodges in South Africa. The five star luxury accommodation provided amidst the tranquil settings of the reserve has inspired many discerning eco-travellers to come back year after year.

The two managers of Leopard Hills Game Lodge have been with the lodge for over 20 years ensuring that they not only are able to share intimate details about the bush with guests, but that they also have built longstanding relations with guests over the years. This personal touch and dedication to professionalism, conservation, and the promotion of superior service by our loyal managers Duncan and Louise Rogers contribute to the warm and welcoming ambience of Leopard Hills.

Leopard Hills Game Lodge offer impeccable accommodation and facilities which include the likes of a traditional Shangaan Boma, library, splash pools, well appointed suites, gym and sala. Contact us to make your booking for a true luxury African safari at Leopard Hills.
